Henry Vollam Morton (H.V. Morton) was a pioneering travel writer from Lancashire, England.

He wrote many books on his travels; including those on London, Great Britain and the Holy Land. He was also a journalist with the Daily Express.

Not only is Morton’s writings of Scotland’s treasures historically informative; they are presented with a poetic description that makes it hard to put the book down.
