Rolling Pins @ Time’s Tin Cup !
On July 7, 1928, sliced bread was sold for the first time.
This may never have happened if it wasn’t for Judy Reed.
How many know that an elaborate form of this “must have” device, the rolling pin, was invented by a woman? Not just a woman, a trail blazing African American woman, Judy W. Reed.
During times when women were still property, she invented a kitchen tool that is still needed and used today. She filed it with the U.S. Patent Office.
