Boxer, Joseph Louis Barrow, aka the brown bomber, is regarded as the most influential boxers of all time. He won 66 of the 69 fights he participated in his professional career. He won the Golden Gloves in 1934 and the U.S. National Championships.

Joe Louis was also the first African American to achieve the status of a nationwide hero. He even had an historic boxing match with German boxer Max Schmeling in 1938 which was instrumental as anti-Nazi sentiment during #WW2.
