Marilyn Monroe “Photo Art” Playing Card Deck @ Time’s Tin Cup !
It is National Card Day, and we are celebrating with a rare deck that is as multifaceted as the icon herself.
Say hello to this stunning 1950s Marilyn Monroe “Photo Art” playing card deck. While the cards feature Tom Kelley’s legendary “Golden Dreams” photograph, we love remembering the woman behind the imagery. Did you know Marilyn was an avid reader with a personal library of over 400 books, spanning from Joyce to Whitman?
This complete vintage deck captures a pivotal moment in her early career. It featured the exact image that launched the first Playboy centerfold in 1953. Complete with its original red tuck box and a period tax stamp, it’s a beautiful contradiction of midcentury glamour and pop culture history. Whether you are a collector of classic Americana, a literature lover, or a Marilyn devotee, this is a dealer’s choice you don’t want to pass up.
