American Icon, Budweiser – Card Deck

German immigrant, Adolphus Busch arrived in the U.S. in 1857. He served in the Union Army during the Civil War.

After the war, he worked with his father-in-law to build a brewery that would become an American Icon.

Anheuser – Busch was the first American brewery to use pasteurization, artificial refrigeration, and rail cars with ice housing. This allowed for beer to be shipped long distances to become the first nationally distributed beer.

An American Icon, the King of the Bottled Beers broke the 1 million barrel beer sale in 1901

But Anheuser Busch is not just known for beer. They are known for their Legends, the Budweiser Clydesdales.
