Vintage Hand Crank Manual Egg Beater @ Time’s Tin Cup !
Not only will have have found memories of being in the kitchen when grandma was cooking; but, if the power goes out, this egg beater will still work! Hand crank egg beaters were invented during the 1800s. This kitchen tool was build to last a lifetime and then some!
Did you know you can freeze raw eggs? Fresh eggs can be safely frozen for about a year. Best way to do it is with standard ice cube trays. The slots of the standard ice cube trays will hold one full egg. Sprinkle a pinch of salt over egg slot with an egg, cover the tray with plastic wrap and place in the freezer on a flat surface. Once frozen, pop the frozen solid eggs out of the tray and place them in an air tight contain or zip lock bag. Label the container with the date. Now you know how to store eggs if you want to take advantage of a great supply that is available!
To defrost these eggs for use, take out how many frozen squares you desire, put them in a bowl to defrost in the refrigerator overnight to thaw. Then you can use your vintage hand crank egg beater from @ Time’s Tin Cup to prepare them in the morning!
