Patrick Stewart was born in West Yorkshire England. He started his career in theaters before hitting the big screen. His acting skills were honed in Shakespearean plays making him quite versatile.

He is best known for his roles as Professor Charles Xavier in X-Men and as Captain Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek the Next Generation.

In 2010 Patrick Stewart was knighted by Queen Elizabeth, honoring him as Sir Patrick Stewart.

During the COVID shut down, Sir Patrick Stewart graced us with a #ASonnetADay reading. His soothing voice and routine of these readings really instilled a calming affect that was very much needed. I am very grateful for these #ASonnetADay readings during that time. Thank you @SirPatStew
