Vintage Boontonware Dinnerware

By Lisa Ostella on November 11, 2020July 21, 2024

Vintage Boontonware Dinnerware was produced by the Boonton Molding Company for the U.S. Navy in the late 40s, #WW2.

The Boonton Molding Company was established by Dr. George Scribner based on successful experimentations he created for synthetic resins. Dr. Scribner layed down his roots in the village of “Boone-Towne” (named in honor of Colonial Governor Thomas Boone, 1761)

The durable dinnerware created and produced by Dr. Scribner’s Boonton Molding Company had such a popularity that it continues to be manufactured by GMR Technologies in Ohio today.
