Happy birthday to Judy Garland (1922-1969). She will always be best known as Dorothy, the actress from the “The Wizard of Oz”.
But did you know that Judy Garland was not in the original “The Wizard of Oz”?
The original movie was a silent film based of the novel, “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz”.
The silent film was only 15 minutes long. Dorothy encountered Scarecrow on her farm before the tornado. She travels to Oz with Toto, a donkey and a cow!
