Eggs of the Devil or Angel?

By iDenville on July 18, 2025July 18, 2025

Deviled Eggs Platter available @ Time’s Tin Cup !

Katy Perry was raised in a strict religious household. As a child, she and her siblings were not allowed to eat Lucky Charms cereal because the word “luck” reminded their mother of Lucifer. Additionally, they were required to call deviled eggs, “angeled eggs”.

Angel Eggs Recipe

Hard-boiled eggs

Greek yogurt or mayo or mustard (adds a tangy depth of flavor).

Salt & black pepper.

Paprika.

Chopped parsley (optional).

Boil the eggs in a pot, cover with water and bring to a boil.

Drain, cool/bathe the eggs with cold water. Peel and refrigerate until cold.

Slice the boiled eggs in half lengthwise and transfer the yolk to a medium bowl.

Mash the yolks with Greek yogurt or mayo, and/or mustard, salt, and black pepper, until smooth.

Use a piping bag or large spoon to fill the center of each egg white half.

Sprinkle with smoked paprika and chopped parsley.

Enjoy!
