Edgemont Crackers, Now Made by Elves!

In 1897, a little company called Green & Green Company started out making crackers and biscuits. Their prize Edgemont Cracker was created in 1921 that became their claim to fame, Cheez-It’s!

During World War I, Green & Green fired up its ovens for the war effort. Their ‘Fighting Bread’ sustained countless soldiers.

This moment was seized for branding and the company name was changed to Sunshine Biscuit Company.

Sunshine Biscuit Company finally merged with Keebler Company in 1996. Cheez-it’s still carries the Sunshine Biscuit name. But their crackers are now made by little elves that live in a tree.
