Hear No Evil, See No Evil, Speak No Evil

The proverbial saying, “Hear No Evil, See No Evil, Speak No Evil” is from the Analects of Confucius. The oldest know representation of this principled legend are depicted in front of the Toshogu Temple in Nikko, Japan represented by three monkeys; Mizaru, Iwazaru and Kikazaru. They represent a philosophy of not feeling evil.
