Coffee with a Kick! Classic Rüdesheimer Kaffee
The beautiful city of Rüdesheim, long known for its terraced vineyards along one of the most scenic parts of the Rhine River is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. In 1957, specialty coffee was added to its historical highlights.
The German specialty coffee created by world renowned chef Hans Karl Adam is served in these these Rüdesheim Cups!
Rüdesheimer coffee consists of black coffee mixed with three cubes of sugar and Asbach brandy. Topped with whipped cream, vanilla sugar and dark chocolate shavings.
The tradition of Asbach brandy has it’s roots in Rüdesheim as well. In 1892 a merchant and distiller named Hugo Asbach created the brandy. This coffee is always served in the above featured saucer and genuine Rüdesheim coffee mug—that is a mug without handles—drinking the coffee is an enjoyable entertainment all on its own.
