Vintage 1851 Telechron Clock Art Deco @ Time’s Tin Cup !

The Telechron Clock had two movements; one driven by a motor connected to the electrical current from the power grid and the other from a spring and pendulum. The pendulum was adjusted twice a day in accordance with time signals received over the radio.

The Telechron company’s success from the 1920s into the 1950s was not solely due to the technical advantages of their clocks. But the clocks also reflected the fundamental principles of the Art Deco movement.
